About Nõelake

My name is Kristi, and my passion is to create cosy, inviting and beautiful spaces for family and friends to enjoy. 
A year ago, I decided that I want to follow my true interest in life and give up my work as a librarian. This passion stems from a love for designing and sewing handmade textiles, which is something I love more than anything else.

Product quality and tasteful appearance are very important to me. I love colours and natural materials like cotton, silk and linen. The uniqueness of the product is very relevant; no two products are the same. 

My aim is to use as much fabric swatches (upcycling) as I can, leaving as little waste as possible. I advocate for an environmentally friendly lifestyle, and with my own activities, I try to contribute to reducing the environmental footprint. :)

Cushions are my favourite; I can’t imagine a home without an inviting sofa with comfortable and decorative cushions.

Allmyitemsarehand made, using high-quality designer (Designers Guild, Eijffinger, Sanderson, Harlequin, Broyhill etc) fabric swatches. I design and sew featured listings in my small sewing atelier, located in Tallinn, Estonia.
